The company’s thriving luxury destinations for exotic weddings, special occasions and corporate events already encompasses five locations in Hawaii and California. On the occasion of the move, Kathy announced that the kathy ireland Weddings and Resorts head, Thomas Meharey, who has so powerfully developed the division’s success, has been promoted to Vice President of kathy ireland Worldwide and will report to Rocco Ingemi, Vice President of Brand Management and Retail, and Stephen Roseberry, President and COO. The dual announcement was made by Mr. Ingemi.

Mr. Meharey’s addition of the two Fiji destinations marks the first locations outside of the United States for kiWW’s popular wedding settings, each specifically and uniquely designed to an elected theme and incorporating Kathy’s popular Style Guides™ which are seen in her collection of bridal gowns and amenities reflecting the division’s dedication to “..finding solutions for people in love™.”
The expansion is designed to accommodate the high demand for present kathy ireland Weddings and Resorts destinations which include Villa Elizabeth, former Hawaiian beach home of Dame Elizabeth Taylor and Beachfront, former home of John Travolta and Kelly Preston. kiWW California destinations are available in Santa Barbara, Palm Springs and Hollywood.
Describing the two new Fiji destinations, Mr. Meharey noted, “These two private Villas at the new Nanuku Cove resort, TAKALI and TINIKATOLU, will submerge nuptial celebrations in the unforgettable hospitality and lush tropical settings that is Fiji.”
